What is Adobe
Acrobat (.PDF) and why should I download it?

.PDF logos
Adobe Acrobat
is a program which
allows for the creation, reading and printing of Portable Data Format (.PDF) files. PDF files are output files created in ANY program; then
"printed" (saved) as a "portable" document which can be "read and printed" by
anyone with a FREE Acrobat "reader".
Example: We created the free American Flags in a graphics program called Corel
Draw. Most people don't have a copy of Corel Draw on their computers. (It's very expensive)
We want you to be able to see our creations; so we save them as Adobe Acrobat .PDF files. You
can get a FREE .PDF reader which will allow you to see these files as well as any other
.PDF file on the Internet.
Acrobat Reader is a really great
FREE program. It's a world standard and it's worth the download. It installs automatically and works automatically in your Netscape or Internet
Explorer after you restart your computer.
